DescriptionImage of a young man in plaid vest, sitting next to a bottle and glass, and holding a book with his index finger pointing up. This sixth plate daguerreotype is housed in an oval brass mat inside of a leather covered case with a red silk liner. The case depicts a bird and grape vine motif on the lid.
