Lewis Koch uses the power of the flash to expose what this couple probably thought was a private moment. By using a handheld camera, Koch takes spontaneous photographs which “call attention to the unremarkable elements of everyday life.” Koch’s methods raise questions about privacy and the boundaries of creative expression.
