DescriptionThis tall, slender panel is decorated with large flowers, each framed by circular vegetal scrolls. The panel is polychrome, with a red, recessed background, and the vines and glowers painted with black, white, yellow, and blue paint. There appears to be a layer of dark paint over much of the polychrome paint. The panel is cut at a 45 degree angle at one end. This may have been a jamb or post of a window or doorframe.Provenance
