DescriptionThis large horizontal panel is decorated with ten, circular, tightly-wound arabesques, five on either side of a central base from which they emerge. The arabesques are framed in a border of x-shaped flowers. Traces of polychrome remain in recessed areas. The panel appears to have been painted with a white ground, then with a yellow central base and blue and yellow flowers in the scrollwork.Provenance
