DescriptionBobbin-made straight lace. The flounce was made in seven (or more) horizontal strips and invisibly joined. It has a twist-net ground and a pattern worked in whale and half stitch with outlining threads, decorative meshes and openings. The right-hand end is starting edge. Bars of wheat alternate with the displayed host above a chalice with compartments separated by columns topped with a cross and surrounded by cherubs.
