DescriptionThis serape includes pictorials of cornstalks, knives, pocket knives, scissors, weaving batons and weaving combs. A pictorial of a large purple weaving baton appears at the bottom edge of the serape. Above and below the central diamond, there are pictorials of two Navajo upright looms, and unfinished Germantown eyedazzler serape is in the process of being woven, with its warps visible as vertical black and veritcal white lines above the unfinished serape. A pair of weaving sticks runs horitzonally through each body of warps.Provenance
