DescriptionThe weaving is a classic Saltillo serape. It has a large central diamond is created by a number of concentric diamond-shaped lines. These alternate between red and pink. There is one white band with red dots in it. All of the interior diamonds have outlined serrate edges. Around the central diamond is a large rectangle of dark reddish brown. It is accented with V-shapes lines comprised of smaller light-colored dots. The weaving has a border of the darker red with many smaller diamond shapes in darker colors inside it. The letters “A C” are woven into the piece near one corner of the central diamond.Exhibition History
