DescriptionThis doll portrays a taishō, or wise general, seated on a wooden stool. His face is oval, and his eyes are inlaid glass. His facial expression is calm. He has a short black beard and mustache. He wears a full suit of armor and helmet with maedate made of lacquered paper with metal bosses and silk lacings. He has a sword and a folding fan.
