DescriptionThe piece is a large and flat rectangular plaque with images and text on white porcelain. There are black and white images from the Financial Times printed onto the white porcelain sheet, covering most of the surface. A large red splotch of paint is central to the composition with long drips, some spreading to the base of the work. There is a small section of blue paint in the upper right section of the red paint which turns to near black and drips alongside the red paint. A fired metallic enamel has been applied to the surface in a few areas, especially in the upper right.Exhibition HistoryImage as Metaphor, Todd Weiner Gallery, Kansas City, Missouri, March 4-April 30, 2016, no. 12.
