DescriptionPortrait of woman, Remedios Varo, wearing a mask by Leonora Carrington. The mask is encircled with dark lace and portrays a primitive face with wide eyes, arched brows, narrow nose, and small gaping mouth. In addition, there is a large opening that reveals the sitter's face creating a surrealist juxtaposition.Provenance
