DescriptionNecklace in the form of a flat beaded collar with a simple back opening finished on each edge with three bead strands in light blue, red, and green. Concentric bands of multiple strands of colored beads, primarily in light blue with inner and outer edges in strands of Maasai complementary oppositional colors. The inner edge displays three contrasting strands of green, red, and white, and the outer edge is finished with red and yellow strands. The concentric strands are joined together with wire at seven points, with a hide strip covering the center front, central joining on each side, and the back opening.ProvenanceAcquired in Kenya by Linda M.
