MarkingsOn paper tape, behind plate, in pencil: "Retaped 9/10/96 DAW Exeter, NH / Hand cut No Hallmark but on the upper right corner of the long side is: [drawing] The tops were cut off / The left side corners are clipped narrow the other 2 are square. The plate is c. 1842 + the illumination is spectacular! The weight is medium".
