DescriptionWhite bust-length figure of a middle-aged man with head turned slightly to the left; wavy hair, curling at back of neck, receding on forehead; face slightly jowly; neck and upper chest exposed, shoulders and lower chest wrapped with simple classical drapery ending over right shoulder; back cut away and impressed with inscription: WATT / JOSIAH WEDGWOOD & SONS / PUBLISHED AUGUST 24 1859 / E. W. WYON. F."; bust stands on a circular base.
