DescriptionFigure of a warrior standing erect, wearing armor and helmet, with arms bent at elbow, right hand clenched (as if holding a spear or longbow), left hand raised, palm open. Legs with left foot slightly to rear, as if in motion. Armor decorated with mask at waist, breastplate painted with floral design in red, blue, and green polychrome, hip armor also with gilt paint. Helmet with topknot, and long ear flaps. Facial features: broad cheeks, heavy eyebrows, wide flaring nostrils, curling moustache, and trimmed beard.ProvenanceWith Ch'ung Teh Heo, by 1933;
