DescriptionNeedle lace of the point de gaze type. Some use of shading in the flower heads, using spaced and close buttonholing. Some decorative fillings but no three-dimensional details. Attached to a bobbin-made heading. Original starting edge on left-hand side. Shallow scallops with solid flower heads along the edge and delicate garlands of flowers in the mesh-grounded area above.
