DescriptionThe object is a low-fired, rectangular-shaped ceramic piece. There are repetitive-stamped designs arranged in eight registers across the top or front surface. There is a double-stamped border surrounding the surface designs. No trace of pigments is seen within the recessed lines of the designs. The tiny black dots visible on the surface are probably a manganese-based mineral.
