DescriptionBobbin-made part lace of the type known as Rosaline. Worked in shale stitch with some raised eyes and small areas of decorative filling meshes. The Rosaline was loosely based on small-scale Venetian needle lace of the late 17th century, which was very popular in the late 19th century.
