DescriptionCeladon ground. Fluted columnar shaft decorated in gold on white, annular knop 2/3 of distance up; flaring cup shape bearing within reserve on one side within gold borders, polychrome transfer print of man's bust, 3/4 1. profile, long gray hair, brown coat, white stock; on opposite side, polychrome coat of arms with motto: EX IGNI PUCHITRUDO. Gold-bordered lid with finial. Foot inscribed in gold on top: Commemorating Two Hundred Years of Spode Craftsmanship 1770-1970. On bottom: A Limited Edition of Two Hundred Number 39 Spode/England/Bone China/KP
