DescriptionRecto imagery depicts a woman in the arms of a helmeted soldier, in the center of the fan. At left is a soldier with a sword on set steps of steps, the sea and boats visible. At right is a host of female figures bearing treasure chests. A temple can be seen in background. The end, spines, and bottom arc are delicately painted in gold and polychrome diaper patterns with a reserved panel with Chinoiserie scene. The verso depicts a seascape with terrace and two figures,. At left is a rocky island, in the center, a castle and herdsmen can be seen. A sailboat is depicted on the right. The bottom arc is adorned by a floral arrangement with birds.
