DescriptionSlender vase with curved, gilded lip; iridescent salt glaze of blue, green, and purple; naturalistic scene of vines, flowers, leaves, tree trunks and two blue gowned maidens with butterfly wings; foliated design with birds and elflike butterflies on inside of lip; designs outlined in gold; pebblelike design done in gold on base; on bottom- the Portland Vase, 3 stars, and the words: Wedgwood England.Provenance
