DescriptionHeavy loop handle with central ridge; two annuli on upper neck. Embossed design on neck; bearded person intended derisevely to depict Cardinal Bellarmine whose writings were obnoxious to the Reformed Church of England; second embossed design on front of body. Mottled red-brown salt glaze does not quite reach the bottom.
