DescriptionThis two-paneled collage shows two pictures of paths in a park. On the left is a vertically oriented black-and-white photograph of the park pathway with lines drawn downward onto a board to extend the composition. A person runs towards the viewer. To the right is the same black-and-white picture of a pathway, though as a drawing with the path covered by a saffron cloth. The path is seen from the perspective of one standing on it. It begins in the lower right corner of the vertically oriented composition and recedes into the background as it rises. Toward the top of the composition, another branch meets the path the viewer stands on. The initial path then swerves towards the right and curves back to the left, far in the distance. Trees rise in the background. Along the top of the composition are handwritten notes in black ink that include the title of the project. Beneath the photograph on the right are a few more handwritten notes.Exhibition History
