DescriptionThis doll portrays a seated general dressed in layers of silk clothing under a lacquered paper armor with silk lacings and metal bosses. His face is covered with a black mask (menpō), and he wears a kabuto-type helmet. He holds a battle whisk and a sword with lacquered sheath.
