DescriptionThe side of a house, seven brown boards. Through an open doorway on the left and a cross-barred window on the upper right, either a beige Japanese screen held together by brown slats (? Dowels?) or a series of shorter vertical boards making up the wall of the house. A sturdy little boy stands in the doorway with his feet apart, turned slightly to the right. He wears a baseball cap and his proper left hand rests on an upright baseball bat.ProvenanceC. Richard Belger and Evelyn Craft Belger, Kansas City, MO;
