DescriptionMale figure crouches or sits, a smile on his face, his head in his proper right hand. Red, orange, yellow and blue curls in place of hair and ears; a nose ring, and a greenish left cheek. Brightly colored tattoos cover his arms and legs, most notably a sunburst in black, orange and red on the side of his proper left thigh. A carnival tent with a curving entrance on the left. Fireworks overhead. On the right, a Ferris wheel and a painted clown’s face.ProvenanceC. Richard Belger and Evelyn Craft Belger, Kansas City, MO;
