DescriptionHorizontal format landscape of a golden wheat field with red poppies set against a blue sky with large white billowy clouds. The wheat fields takes almost 2/3 of the picture plane with the remaining 1/3 left for the sky. There is a diagonal path through the wheatfield leading from front left to the back right of the painting. To the left of this path in the foreground is a stand of trees. There is another stand of trees in the back center and right.Exhibition History
