DescriptionA rectangular prism earthenware sculpture. The sculpture is hollow and is covered with golden luster glaze, emulating industrial and natural substances. Random markings and fissures were created by the forming process. The markings and fissures contrast with the intentionally placed grids and frames.Exhibition HistoryRecent Gifts of Architecture, Design and Decorative Arts, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri, July 30 2022–January 21 2024, no cat.
