DescriptionHand-colored Image of a nude woman wearing a long sheer veil; she holds the veil on her forehead with one hand while the other hand holds a small mirror that she gazes into. She is adorned with earrings, a ring, a necklace, and a bracelet - all of which have punched details for the jewels making them appear to shine. This quarter plate uncased daguerreotype is housed in a white paper mat which is a traditional British style housing.Provenance
