Dramatically lit and elaborately staged, Holly Andres’s photographs are reminiscent of Hollywood movie stills. Intricately constructed with a cast of brightly costumed characters, props, and effects, Andres’s photographs retain a sense of mystery and allow us to imagine our own narratives.
