DescriptionThe sculpture depicts a leaping horse wearing a multi layered suit of armor over the head, mane, and body with a saddle of matching color that has armor plates behind its seat. Beneath the saddle on both sides are iron eyelets. The armor is painted in faded shades of blue and green with red line details. There is a golden brown carved blanket beneath the armor on the horse’s neck, and the saddle pad is the same color. The horse itself is painted a chestnut color, and it has black and brown glass eyes. The horse’s tail is docked and its mouth is open.Provenance
