DescriptionThis complex abstract print is made of a fine network of straight white lines connected to each other by points on a black ground.Gallery Label

To see a world in a grain of sand,

And a heaven in a wild flower,

Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,

And eternity in an hour.

—William Blake, from Auguries of Innocence, 1909–1914

This crisp geometric print evokes both the infinite vastness of space and the delicate dance of subatomic particles. Anthony Baab created Untitled on a computer. He began with an overall compositional line drawing. Then, within each section, he meticulously drew a myriad of fine white lines, fashioning a complex linear network against the black background.
