DescriptionImage of a young child with a riding crop standing in distinctive Hepplewhite chair identified with the Pease Studio in Lima, Peru. He is supported by two black women wearing dark shawls. Two fingers of another person standing behind the curtain can be seen steadying the child's head. This half plate cased daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of an unadorned pebbled case with an olive green velvet liner.Published References
