Description1/6 plate daguerreotype. Portrait of an elderly woman from the waist up, wearing a large bonnet tied under her chin with a white bow and with black lace draped from the back. Wearing a floral print dress with a white shawl. Slight tint on the face. Housed in a brown leather case with broken hinge. Bird (possibly a Mourning Dove) on a grape vine embossed on the cover.
