Gallery Label

Grant Mudford photographed this structure with minimalist austerity. He placed his camera carefully to ensure the right angles of the architecture and signage aligned with the rectangular frame format.

To further intensify the crisp appearance of his subjects, Mudford used an enlarger designed to render his images with near-microscopic detail. He also printed the image with high-key contrast.
