DescriptionImage of young girl standing next to a chair resting her elbow on the back. She's wearing a dress with woven ribbons (colored red) along the sleeves and skirt. This sixth plate cased daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of a case with studio logo on red velvet liner and handwritten note attached to case recto. Case is embossed with "Birds and the Fountain" motif with gold tooling around perimeter.Published References
