DescriptionCamera obscura image of a dense city reflected upside down on the ceiling and wall of a large room. In the lower left corner of the frame there is a partially open door and a wooden chair. A small square table with two chairs is in the lower right.Gallery LabelAbelardo Morell transforms a New York City apartment using the centuries-old technique of a camera obscura, in which light enters a dark room through a small aperture to create an inverted image of the outdoors. His photograph of the phenomenon merges indoor and outdoor space into one seamless view.
