Adam Fuss constructs photographs without a camera. This image was made from a light source swinging in concentric circles over a sheet of photographic paper. Fuss is deliberately vague about this process. He states: “I would much prefer people to look at my photographs as if they were paintings…. Somehow when people look at photographs they want an answer to a question that they feel can be answered through technical information.”
