In this still life, Zeke Berman illustrates the way images form in a camera. Using string and teacups set against a dark backdrop, Berman demonstrates how light rays (represented here by string) reflect off an object (teacup), and travel in straight lines through an aperture (small opening at the center) to form a reversed, inverted image in a darkened space.
