DescriptionBobbin-made straight lace of the Bedfordshire Maltese type, worked on whole stitch with a few wheat-ears and plaited bars. A straight insertion is sewn to a fandyked edging to make a wider border. The upper straight edge has been gathered to fit around an oval mat.Provenance
