DescriptionCarved from light green jade is a mythical beast with offspring. The offspring crouches across the rear haunch of the beast while turning its head to the left to view the right-facing beast. Both are kneeling on all fours. Their faces are lively with bulging eyes. Fine carving highlights the wispy hairs on their tails and legs.Provenance
