[1] This basket is one in a group of five with the same provenance. On the base of one of the other baskets in the group (Nelson-Atkins no. F84-85/3 B), two inscriptions read: “Chloe M. Coffin from Aunt Chloe M. Pierce” and “To Helen Coffin from Aunt Chloe For Green Hollow 1933.”
