DescriptionPile on pile (two heights) solid cut silk velvet brocaded with gold thread. Lined with red linen. The edges were originally bound with braid. Dalmatic of green velvet brocade. The design is gold on a dark green ground of pomegranates in seven-fold curves which are decorated on outside with small leaves.Exhibition History
