DescriptionA large, antique Japanese Buddhist shrine, consisting of a central image of a standing Amida Buddha with an elaborate mandorla and two smaller, flanking figures representing Bodhisattvas, all housed in a sumptuous architectural-type cabinet with double doors, columns, eaves, railings, drawers, fine openwork carvings, chased brass lampholders, finely wrought metal mounts, etc.
