DescriptionThe red velvet fragement is irregularly shaped with one long straight edge, one short straight edge and one long curved edge. The fragment has a repeating pattern of abstract floral motifs within scallop-shaped designs and scrolls. The pattern is achieved by cutting the upright pile of the velvet down to the ground cloth.
