Aujourd'hui 15 Octobre reçu 375 [trois cent soixante-quinze francs] pour solde sur cette affaire. Müller” (Sold to Mr. Sagot: 500 friezes of Peacocks, 500 friezes of Swans: 750F. Receipt for 375F. In Le Courrier Français during the summer of 1905, The Swans was advertised as for sale at chez Pierrefort. See Le Courrier Français 22, no. 35 (August 31, 1905): 12. Pierrefort’s address was 12, Rue Bonaparte, where he sold prints and posters.
