DescriptionElliptical-shaped piece of metal with an opening along one of the long sides; the edges of the opening have been rolled back to form a smooth edge. The piece is undecorated except for two raised ribs which extend down the entire length of the object. A brownish-gold patina has developed over the object except for the edges where bright gold-colored metal is visible.ProvenanceLarry and Phyllis Tally, Montrose, MO, by February 19, 1998 [1];
