DescriptionThe object is a rectangular-shaped, thin sheet of silver backed with a piece of cardboard. The silver has an opening where a photograph or print would have been framed. The frame is decorated with Celtic-inspired designs along the long sides and below the window. Ten small turquoise cabochons are spaced around the perimeter of the frame and one turquoise cabochon is located on the bottom of the image window. Just below the frame’s opening are two rectangular-shaped blue enamels, set at each corner. The back of the cardboard frame and the piece that supports the frame are covered with a gold colored leather.Provenance
