DescriptionA sunlit scene by the bank of a river; to left in the foreground is a stream tumbling down from the hills between huge boulders to join the main river; several figures nearby with tubs. Further back is the mill structure, driven by water power conveyed by a wooden trough from the hillside; beneath is the miller and his horse, and behind is a little cottage.
