This is one of three windows in the Museum's collection from the church at Loisy-en-Brie in northeastern France.  While the total number of windows made for this church is unknown, numerous extant stained-glass panels including the present examples indicate that the building contained at least two separate decorative programs: the Infancy Cycle, to which the Museum's Nativity and Adoration of the Magi belonged, and scenes from the Passion of Christ, which included The Crucifixion.
