DescriptionImage of a young boy standing next to a man who is kneeling down behind a sheep. The mustachioed man is wearing a wide brimmed hat, vest and tie and holding a knife towards the head of the sheep. The young boy is wearing a cap and holding a saw in one hand; his other hand is resting on the man's shoulder. This quarter plate cased ambrotype is housed in a brass mat inside of a leather-covered case with embossed floral motif, gold tooling in interior, and embossed red velvet liner.Provenance
